Hypnosis with Couples

Relationships pull us into trance-like affective states that can be positively or negatively charged.  Those of us who work with couples have felt the strength of the changes in a room when a dyad engages in a dance that is familiar.  Clinical hypnosis offers a way to elicit hypnotic absorption in a relational process, or conversely identify and join spontaneous trance states that emerge. These hypnotic experiences open pathways to disrupt and reconsolidate expectations and automatic behavior patterns. This workshop will explore facilitation of hypnotic experiences in the fast-paced world of couple therapy.

This presentation will be recorded, and available for two weeks after the event to registered people.
